As a Security Officer Access Gate Specialist in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, verify badges and visitor entry, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, deliver strong customer service and communication, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process authorized access, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include truck yards, loading areas, parking areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Support traffic flow and visitor management by providing directions, communicating site rules, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
