Security Officer Afternoon Controlled Access

As a Security Officer Controlled Access Specialist in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related procedures for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including shipping, receiving, parking, and trailer areas, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
