Available Assignments

Security Officers may be assigned to:

• Community facilities
• Construction and secured sites
• High-visibility public-facing locations

Assignments are throughout North, Northwest, Downtown, West, Southwest, South, and Southeast Chicago neighborhoods.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points
• Conduct foot patrols and security inspections
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and community members
• Utilize conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques when appropriate
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and client procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and client representatives

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Illinois PERC Card
• 20-Hour Illinois Security Training Certificate
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State ID or Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to write clear and professional reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
