Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Armed Security Officer for a critical infrastructure assignment in Dillon. This daytime position supports site operations through a combination of access control, patrol coverage, and routine security monitoring across the property.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both stationery and patrol responsibilities while maintaining a professional and alert presence throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify identification and authorize entry at designated access points
• Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols throughout assigned property areas
• Perform walking inspections of gates, buildings, perimeter zones, and restricted locations
• Observe site activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations
• Maintain a professional armed presence to support overall site security operations
• Respond to incidents, alarms, emergencies, or service calls according to established procedures
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol records, and daily activity documentation
• Maintain communication with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and site representatives
• Follow all post orders, safety procedures, and company operational standards
• Support a secure and controlled environment for authorized staff and visitors

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet Colorado licensing and qualification requirements for armed security personnel
• Valid driver's license required
• Personal firearm required and must be carried in compliance with state law and company policy
• Strong observational, communication, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work consistent 12-hour daytime shifts
• Reliable attendance and professional presentation required

Preferred Experience

• Current armed certifications or related credentials
• Previous experience in armed patrol, access control, gate security, or infrastructure protection
• Familiarity with controlled-access environments or high-security operations

Work Environment

• Combination of gatehouse coverage, mobile patrol, and walking patrol responsibilities
• Indoor and outdoor assignments depending on operational needs and weather conditions
• Position may involve prolonged standing, walking, or driving throughout the shift
• Active daytime role requiring continuous situational awareness and attention to detail
