As a Security Officer Armed Morning Shift in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.99 - $23.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support the enforcement of site rules, post orders, and applicable government location procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders, maintain a professional presence, and prepare clear reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
