Must Have a Minimum of 2 Years' Experience as a Certified Law Enforcement Officer Civilian OR Military will Qualify or 2 Years' Experience in Corrections.

Must be Provided of State Certifications of Police Academy or Corrections Academy Retired or Active.

As a Security Officer Arrestee Transport in Largo, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, checking identification, credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Support investigations and daily operations by preparing clear reports, preserving incident details, and following directions related to government facility protocols, public interaction, and/or restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
