Security Officer - Condominium Building Patrol

As a Security Officer - Condominium Building Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents and guests with professionalism while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, residents, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor traffic to help support community rules, report suspicious behavior, and/or address concerns in a professional manner.
• Assist with routine reporting, incident documentation, and shift pass-down communications to help maintain awareness of property activity and/or ongoing issues at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
