As a Security Officer Credential Verification Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control activities, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and support authorized entry procedures in alignment with location policies.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, public officials, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
