Security Officer Dispatch Agent

As a Security Officer Dispatch Agent in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional supporting a dynamic tech and telecom location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, document incidents, and communicate with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by handling incoming calls, radios, and service requests while following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related personnel to alarms, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor dispatch systems, communication channels, cameras, alarms, and/or access control activity, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Document incidents, calls for service, shift activity, and related updates in logs and reports with clear and timely communication.
• Support emergency response activities by relaying critical information to on-site staff, supervisors, and/or public responders, and help to deter issues through timely coordination and follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
