As a Security Officer Entry Assurance in Phillipsburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. In this access control role, you will support daily operations with professionalism and customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening requirements, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and perimeter gates.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned access points.
• Support daily operations by documenting security-related events, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and following post orders related to deliveries, vendor access, and shift activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
