Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Graveyard Shift 

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, property access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or property-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by observing building conditions, reporting hazards or policy violations, and assisting with security-related procedures during openings, closings, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
