Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, along with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and/or restricted spaces to help to deter disruptions, support access control practices, and follow site post orders.
• Support daily operations by assisting with visitor interactions, checking credentials when required, and/or communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
