As a Security Officer Gatehouse Screening in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will support employees and visitors with strong communication and customer service while bringing our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift through teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed for security-related matters.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter, remaining aware of changing working environments and conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
