Security Officer - Medical Center - Overnight Shift

As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Overnight Shift in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support orderly movement throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with de-escalation efforts and provide general support during medical-related events, visitor concerns, and/or other situations that require a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
• Must be able to work in hospital areas that may include the morgue.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
