Security Officer - Patrol

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Variable days | 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM (36 - 40 hours per week)

Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a Full-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Officer to support sites in the Springfield area. This night shift role involves traveling along assigned routes, checking multiple locations, and helping maintain secure conditions across client properties.
This position is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, stays organized while covering multiple stops, and remains alert throughout overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled patrols across designated routes and client locations
• Monitor properties to help protect assets and maintain a secure environment
• Identify and address unauthorized individuals or suspicious activity
• Inspect buildings, perimeters, and access points for safety concerns
• Respond to incidents in accordance with site procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter trespassing or damage
• Complete clear and accurate patrol logs and incident reports
• Communicate updates, concerns, or emergencies to supervisors or dispatch

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for at least the past 3 years
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely during extended overnight shifts
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a flexible weekly schedule
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in security, patrol, or field-based roles
• Familiarity with incident reporting and documentation
• Experience working overnight shifts

Work Environment

• Patrol-based role covering multiple locations each shift
• Combination of driving and short on-site inspections
• Overnight hours requiring consistent attention and awareness
• Outdoor conditions may vary depending on location and weather
