As a Security Officer Patrol Active Clearance in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first mindset to help create a reliable and responsive experience for everyone on site.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details through site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report access concerns or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing assigned reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and/or inspections.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
