As a Security Officer Screening and Inspection in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen people and property, and support smooth daily operations through visible presence, communication, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and security-related responsibilities while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, belongings, and/or authorized items entering or exiting the location in accordance with site requirements and established screening protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document irregularities to help support orderly entry and exit at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
