As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor entry points, perform screening activities, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with reporting security-related concerns, and provide strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points using established security-related procedures and client-directed policies.
• Verify identification, credentials, appointments, and/or authorized access while documenting screening results, unusual activity, and policy concerns in a clear and professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, lobbies, screening stations, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and support site rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
