As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Role in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, concourses, entrances, and/or surrounding perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor high-traffic public areas for policy compliance, assist with directional questions, and/or communicate with site representatives regarding security-related issues or service needs.
• Support crowd management and orderly movement during peak travel periods, service disruptions, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
