As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic airport location supporting government operations. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time, Dayshift

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 21+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Ability to pass a background chekc according to the DOT Pass and ID office. 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant information to site contacts and/or public agency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or access authorization when required, and communicate clearly with employees, contractors, and members of the public regarding site rules and procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by providing visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and escalating security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
