As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and help manage access control procedures by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear activity reports, sharing relevant updates during shift handoff, and following Allied Universal protocols and client site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
