As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover in Hemet, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values integrity and innovation while making a meaningful impact each shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, passengers, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and surrounding perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry points, public areas, and restricted locations for policy compliance, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow, support crowd management during peak travel periods and/or public events, and provide directions and general assistance while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
