Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Meriden, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will reflect our caring culture, teamwork, and integrity while delivering agile, reliable, and innovative support throughout your assigned area.

Pay Rate: $16.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Observe the location and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and/or daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
