As a Security Officer Visitor Intake in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will welcome visitors, monitor access, support daily operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this stationary role, you will help promote a professional environment while handling front desk responsibilities with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, assist with visitor check-in processes, verify access permissions, and document entries, deliveries, and/or unusual activity in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and support day-to-day front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and consistent application of post procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate logs related to incidents, visitor activity, access issues, and/or other security-related concerns within a commercial real estate location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
