Job Summary:
The Security Operations Center Operator operates the telecommunications, alarm monitoring, closed circuit television (CCTV), access control, and life safety systems for all GuideWell properties. The Security Operations Center Operator is the intermediary between emergency situations and emergency response personnel; conveying information to the emergency personnel and ensuring appropriate response to observed conditions.
Essential Functions:
Required Experience:
4+ years related work experience in customer service with great attention to detail while working in multiple computer systems.
High school diploma or GED
First Aid/CPR Certification or the willingness to obtain certification within 1 year of accepting position
Willingness to work in a security console environment (confined, windowless control room for entire shift)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work 2nd shift 3pm -11pm with a rotating schedule to include weekends per month. Additional days off during the week will be offered instead.
Requires working rotating weekends and holidays on a regular basis, as well as, on-call additional weekends on a rotational basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree, particularly in computer related field
Certified First Aid/CPR trained
Previous Security Console Operator experience within a corporate environment Experience in 911 call center
General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
Physical/Environmental Activities:
Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity. Occasionally Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, or other equipment. Occasionally

Hourly Pay Range: $22 - $36
Typical Hourly Pay Range: $22 - $27
