OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Campus Operations & Facilities, the Security Professional is a key member of the Safety and Security Team responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role monitors activity, enforces policies, and responds to incidents while supporting the safety of all occupants.

JOB DUTIES

The Security Professional must perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security

• Monitor building access and control entry/exit

• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents

• Prepare detailed incident reports

• Enforce policies and safety procedures

• Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities

• Provide assistance and directions to visitors

• Support events with security presence

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Security or related experience preferred


• Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures


• Strong observation and communication skills


• Ability to remain calm under pressure


• Ability to work flexible schedules

JOB TYPE

Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. May require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
