Security Response Officer

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets patients, visitors, staff and other visitors and provides information to assist them in getting to their specific designations


• Manages wheelchair distribution and provides security escorts for guests and employees to and from vehicles when requested


• Patrols premises to ensure security of patients, visitors and staff


• Proactively addresses and de-escalates tense situations and/or conflicts


• Responds to requires for security assistance and works with local law enforcement as needed


• Responds to all hospital emergency codes, excluding medical codes

• Performs other job duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Valid Driver’s license


• Previous law enforcement, military and/or corrections experience
