Seed Inventory & Conditioning Supervisor
IFSI is seeking a highly motivated Seed Inventory & Conditioning Supervisor in Namps, ID. The Seed Inventory & Conditioning Supervisor is expected to be a self-starter with a strong sense of determination, taking a leadership role in this crucial part of our business. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Oversee all seed conditioning including treating. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a background in seed production, and demonstrate the ability to efficiently manager tasks and personnel.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Work Closely with the Operations Manager with the day-to-day seed processing and handling activities, including but not limited to:
- Manage the processing of work orders resulting in accurate records of seed lots that are processed and inventories
- Supervise plant and packaging activities of all seed receiving, conditioning, packaging and distribution
- Supervise and participate all inventory audits and discards
- Manage the shipping of customer orders based on customers' individual order requirements
- Adhere to procedure for maintaining seed lot integrity throughout the storage, processing, treatment, and shipping operations
- Supervise and participate in seed conditioning in Nampa and/or Melba
- Supervise and participate in maintaining, utilizing, and developing seed testing protocols as per IFSI and client requirements
- Supervise the collection and shipping, and filling of all paperwork according to the procedures established for each seed's lab work
- Coordinate and assist with applying for any USDA paperwork needed to ship seed
- Supervise and participate as needed with buildings, equipment and tool maintenance
- Supervise and participate as needed onsite upkeep of facility grounds and infrastructure
- Supervise the implementation of safety practices
- Coordinate the ordering parts and supplies for both facilites
- Manage the warehouse and treating teams
- Supervise seasonal and part-time labor
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Knowledge Needed:
- Previous experience in seed production or related field, a BS in Agriculture or Crop Science is beneficial
- Proficiency in gathering, recording, and reporting data
- Ability to obtain a fumigation and treatment license
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to obtain an ISTA seed certification
- Strong work ethic focused on productivity, accuracy and timeliness
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed, generally up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk and perform field-related tasks for extended periods
- Capable of working long hours/weekends during critical seasonal periods
Benefits:
- Salary: This position has an annual salary range of $55 - $65K. Actual pay is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity
