As part of the Sending Support Team at the Austin Stone Community Church, the Sending Support Coordinator (SSC) will be responsible for providing administrative, systems, program, and event-logistics support across the Collectives and the department’s churchwide initiatives. The SSC will report to the Sending Support Director.
In order to lead effectively at The Austin Stone, a Sending Support Coordinator must have the following competencies:
Administration - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and support program administration across multiple Collective programs and events. Integrate multiple perspectives and synthesize them into a cohesive plan. Strong ability to manage several programs and events simultaneously, with dependability and excellence.
Detail Oriented & Problem Solving Skills - Proven critical thinking skills. Shows attention to detail with data integrity, registration systems, and event logistics. Applies critical thinking and integration ability to department-wide efforts. Able to provide problem-solving support. Able to successfully develop new and better ways to work and promote a continuous improvement mentality.
Communication - Demonstrated capacity to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication in various settings. Writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience. Able to communicate and work within a complex organizational structure with multiple layers of input. Practices proactive communication laterally and upwardly in the organization. Proficient use of telephone and web video conferencing.
Collaboration - Able to collaborate across the organization and with various ministry partners, vendors, and volunteers. Exemplifies and defends the Doctrines, Convictions, Philosophies, and Strategies of The Austin Stone Community Church as outlined in our Culture documents.
