Job Description - Senior Account Manager




Kada Recruiting is partnering with a purpose-driven advertising agency. All of this company's work promotes public health, traffic safety, environmental health, and social justice for government and nonprofit clients. The Account Supervisor will join a passionate and dedicated team working with heart and a sense of humor. This person will work with the VP/Account Director to lead multiple campaigns and projects, primarily in the areas of transportation, traffic safety, and the environment. They will take an active role in all aspects of client service and relationship building, from planning and strategy through campaign development to reporting to project completion. The position is based in our Austin, TX headquarters.







This job has a hybrid work model that will require an individual to be able to commute to the Austin office periodically. 






Requirements



  • 3-5 years of prior advertising agency account service or similar experience.

  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree.

  • Excellent writing/grammar skills. Writing tests is part of the interview process.

  • Problem-solver mindset.

  • Support VP/Account Director.

  • Strong verbal communication skills; able to present ideas with clarity and conviction.

  • Stay current on industry/client issues, politics, and competitive reviews and analysis; provide intelligence to the team and others in the agency when relevant.

  • Develop and manage campaign and project timelines.

  • Proven history managing client relationships and leading successful projects.

  • Develop trusted relationships between client and agency.

  • Experience in healthcare, public health, transportation, environment, and/or traffic safety categories is a plus.

  • Experience with creative development and production.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects while maintaining great attention to detail.

  • Effectively execute strategies and manage day-to-day account work.

  • Experience managing detailed budgets, billing, and timelines.

  • Experience in healthcare, public health, transportation, environment, and/or traffic safety categories is a plus.

  • Experience with government and/or public education campaigns is a plus.

  • Able to work well under pressure and tight timelines.

  • Become a valued point person between internal departments.

  • Enthusiastic, imaginative, approachable, open to new ideas, and diplomatic.

  • Provide leadership on select campaigns.

  • Participate in all aspects of campaigns: planning, research, creative development, production, media planning, and more.

  • Prepare for and lead day-to-day client/internal meetings and presentations; take the lead on a follow-up including status reports and next steps.

  • Develop estimates and manage budgets.

  • Great sense of humor.

  • Able to proof/edit documents.

  • Experience in healthcare, public health, transportation, environment, and/or traffic safety categories.

  • Experience coordinating new business pitches or other presentations.
