Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

SUMMARY: The Senior Accounts Payables Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable processing including general ledger coding, data entry, check writing, and compliance with project and overhead costing guidelines for company with over 30 offices in 10 states and over 1,000 employees. This is a very critical and demanding position within a deadline driven environment. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 

• Minimum 5 -7 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.

• Minimum 3 -5  years of Accounts Payable experience.


• Validate & Review transactions


• Excellent in maintaining confidentiality


• Team building spirit and ability to resolve issues in a dynamic manner 


• Must have the ability to cope with frequent interruptions.  


• Experience using enterprise level accounting software. (BST a plus)


• Must be proficient using spreadsheets and data entry.


• High level of experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.


• Quick learner with minimal supervision in a moderately sized accounting department.

• Process 1099's


• Active involvement in Year-End process


• Annual Audits


• Process expense reports and other requests.
