Senior Analyst, Benefits

Job Description - Senior Analyst, Benefits

Logistics at full potential.

At GXO, our people drive our success—innovative professionals whose expertise shapes our industry leadership. Your career growth is our priority, and your impact helps fuel GXO’s vision for the future.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst  of U.S. and Canadian Benefits responsible for managing, analyzing, and enhancing employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, and wellness offerings. This role supports the design and execution of competitive, cost-effective benefits strategies while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The Senior Benefits Analyst partners with HR, vendors, and business leaders to deliver a seamless employee experience, provide data-driven insights, and drive continuous improvement across benefits programs.

Pay, benefits and more.

We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Manage benefits invoicing, funding, and reconciliation — premiums, payroll deductions, COBRA, direct billing, and vendor payments

  • Administer U.S. and Canadian health, welfare, and retirement plans, including annual enrollment setup, testing, and rollout

  • Review enrollment materials, employee communications, and plan summaries for accuracy and compliance

  • Resolve complex eligibility, enrollment, deduction, and vendor issues — and fix the root cause, not just the symptom

  • Analyze enrollment, utilization, and employee feedback data to recommend program and cost improvements

  • Manage vendor relationships, service reviews, and renewal support

  • Maintain plan documents and support compliance filings, including Form 5500 and ACA reporting

  • Partner with HR, payroll, finance, legal, and procurement across U.S. and Canada operations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience

  • 4+ years of experience in U.S. employee benefits administration, with exposure to Canadian benefits

  • Experience supporting benefit programs in a multi-site or multi-state environment

  • Working knowledge of benefits regulations — FMLA, HIPAA, DOL, and IRS requirements

  • Experience working with vendors on day-to-day administration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize and interpret data

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills across teams

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 5+ years of progressive benefits experience with expertise in U.S. administration and working knowledge of Canadian programs

  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or another large, decentralized environment

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, enrollment systems, and vendor portals

We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer including Disabled/Veterans.

GXO adheres to CDC, OSHA and state and local requirements regarding COVID safety. All employees and visitors are expected to comply with GXO policies which are in place to safeguard our employees and customers.

All applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment may be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
