Senior Analyst, Training & Development

This role in summary

Today, you might be demonstrating how to cook a crepe on our chrome-infused griddle. Tomorrow, you'll design a hands-on cooking demonstration for international guests wanting to learn about small appliances. You might help facilitate training for 500 of your peers at the annual sales conference, or host industry and civic leaders at world-class events.

Your responsibilities will include

• Create and execute training curriculum to support brand objectives.
• Provide hands-on product training and experiences to Whirlpool Corporation trade partners, key influencers, and internal partners to increase sales, generate revenue, and build brand loyalty.
• Develop new training experiences and innovative demonstrations to improve engagement and knowledge retention. 
• Lead innovation and competitive analysis projects to enhance World of Whirlpool's overall experience.
• Interface with sales capabilities to stay informed of product launches, gain product expertise, determine inventory needs, and order products in advance of training sessions.
• Collaborate with brand and category managers to ensure up-to-date training materials, support launch initiatives, represent brands at off-site trade shows or buy fairs, and host consumer/influencer events.
• Maintain close communication with field sales to align training content with current market needs and coordinate channel support for line reviews and trade partner meetings.
• Support and lead learning initiatives for the Whirlpool Corporation Sales Conference.

Minimum requirements

• Associate's Degree 
• 2+ years of experience in Sales or Training

• 2+ years of Culinary experience with assisting or teaching cooking classes

Preferred skills and experiences

• Culinary school degree

• Restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling capabilities and the ability to communicate across all levels with external trade partners and key influencers

• Proven track record of high performance in a collaborative team environment

• Extensive product knowledge acquired through field experience; experience facilitating instructor-led courses is highly desirable

• Excellent presentation and selling skills

• Proficiency with personal computers, iPads, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, and AV equipment

• Flexibility with work schedule to meet training commitments, including occasional evening, weekend, or flexible hours

• Ability to identify and adapt to the unique needs of diverse trade partners

• Ability to quickly master new product information to effectively train others

• Innovative and creative mindset

• Ability to delegate and oversee task execution across teams (no direct reports)

• Physical capability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods

• Ability to manage culinary preparation, including gathering and retrieving ingredients from various facility areas (walk-in, dry storage, etc.)

• Develop, test, and photograph recipes while ideating engaging demonstrations and hands-on experiences

• Maintain workplace organization by ensuring tools/equipment are stored correctly and reporting cleaning or maintenance issues promptly
  
  
  Compensation: $50,600 - $101,200 + Annual Bonus
