Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements (compilations, reviews, and audits)
• Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls
• Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback
• Handle and prepare complex transactions and work with clients on technical matters
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and practices
• Foster client relationships to ensure timely and effective information gathering and resolution
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of prior experience in public accounting
• Stable work history
• Proven knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Caseware and Datasnipper preferred
• CPA certification is desirable, but not mandatory
