We are seeking a senior-level Pennsylvania attorney to join our Philadelphia office and handle sophisticated large loss and excess liability litigation.

This opportunity is designed for an experienced litigator who can independently manage high-exposure matters and work closely with firm leadership and key clients.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage complex large loss and excess liability matters from inception through resolution

  
  


• 
  

  Develop case strategy for high-exposure claims

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze liability, damages, coverage, and excess exposure

  
  


• 
  

  Handle sophisticated discovery and expert-related issues

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare for and conduct/defend depositions

  
  


• 
  

  Draft and argue dispositive and complex motions

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trial preparation

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, excess carriers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients

  
  


• 
  

  Support new business development and help strengthen the firm's large loss and excess liability practice

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  
  


• 
  

  Active Pennsylvania law license

  
  


• 
  

  Senior-level litigation experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience handling large loss, excess liability, or other high-exposure litigation

  
  


• 
  

  Strong insurance defense litigation background

  
  


• 
  

  Experience independently managing complex litigation matters

  
  


• 
  

  Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
