What you will be doing:

• Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.


• Represent clients in financial services, securities, FINRA, and commercial litigation disputes.


• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.


• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.


• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted legal advisor.


• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.


• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the firm's litigation practice.


• Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and client service initiatives.

Experience you will need:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.


• Active admission to the New York Bar.


• Significant experience in commercial litigation.


• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.


• Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships.


• Experience supervising associates or managing litigation teams.


• Demonstrated business development experience or the potential to develop and manage a book of business.


• Experience in Financial Services Litigation.


• Securities Litigation experience.


• FINRA arbitration or regulatory experience.


• Existing portable book of business.


• Expected annual billable hours: 1,850 hours
