About the Role



An established residential property management business is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to manage their own portfolio within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential buildings, ensuring they are well maintained, compliant with relevant legislation, and operated to a high standard. The role involves working closely with leaseholders, directors, contractors and professional advisers to deliver an excellent property management service.



Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders and directors


• Liaise with contractors, surveyors and other professionals to coordinate maintenance, repairs and improvement works.


• Oversee the day-to-day management of properties, resolving issues efficiently.


• Prepare and issue Section 20 consultation notices in accordance with legislation.


• Ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations.


• Maintain accurate property management records.


• Prepare LPE1 forms and liaise with solicitors regarding leasehold transactions.


• Carry out routine site inspections approximately every 6–8 weeks.


• Manage insurance renewals for the portfolio.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in residential property management.


• ATPI and/or AIRPM accreditation preferred.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Good understanding of leasehold and freehold property management.


• Knowledge of Section 20 consultation procedures and health and safety legislation.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
