Senior Business Central Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end software implementations for clients in asset-intensive and field-service sectors. In this role, you will bridge client operational requirements with configured business application environments, driving projects from initial discovery through post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Delivery: Lead client discovery sessions, design tailored operational workflows, configure standard ERP modules alongside industry-specific add-ons, and oversee data migration and system testing.

• Client & Partner Enablement: Deliver technical training to administrators and end users, author process documentation, and provide functional guidance to external implementation partners.

• Pre-Sales & Continuous Support: Collaborate on pre-sales scoping and product demonstrations, triage complex post-launch functional issues, and contribute to internal implementation playbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on functional consulting and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Comprehensive operational expertise across core modules including Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs/Projects, and Fixed Assets.

• Demonstrated track record managing client stakeholders, leading requirements-gathering workshops, and training enterprise teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience implementing specialized vertical add-ons or ISV solutions within rental, equipment management, or field service industries.

• Active Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.

• Foundational awareness of AL extensions and customization structures to facilitate clear communication with development teams.
