Openbucks is a VC funded payment startup with offices in San Jose and Los Angeles, CA.
We enable consumers to purchase online without the need of credit cards, using gift cards of major retailers as an alternate form of cash payment. We have partnered with some of the largest retailers in the world to enable payments online, using their gift cards as well as at their point of sales using mobile technology.
We provide online merchants and billers with a unique solution to monetize consumers who don't have or don't use credit cards when buying online or on their mobile. Many consumers don't have credit cards or a limited access to them or prefer not to share their financial information for privacy or security reasons.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive based in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area to lead our efforts in developing partnerships with large online merchants in need of alternative payment options and with the major payment, checkout, e-commerce industry players.
Experience and established relationships with leading payment providers, e-commerce and online merchants (Paypal, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, AMEX, Visa, etc…) an important plus. Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of business development experience creating, executing, and supporting key business partnerships. This results-driven position includes channel strategies, partner relationships, technical insights, and revenue targets in order to drive growth and value from (and for) our key partners.
Senior Business Development Executive will have strong experience in:
Maintaining a strong partnership pipeline
Securing partnerships with key online merchants and payment companies is desired
Presenting to executive level decision makers and key sales influencers
Attending and representing company at industry related events to generate new partner relationships
Candidates must possess:
5-7 years of relevant experience in the payment industry
Passion, drive, and desire to succeed
Strong consultative selling, business development, and solution selling skills
Ability to build relationships with multiple levels of decisions makers, including executives
Entrepreneurial drive and a do-what-it-takes attitude
