BBG is seeking an experienced Certified General Appraiser in Houston, TX who is ready to take the next step toward office leadership, business development, and team growth. Working directly alongside Houston market leader, this individual will play a key role in expanding BBG's presence in the Houston market through valuation production, client relationship development, and leadership of a growing appraisal team. This position is a critical part of BBG's long-term strategy and offers a unique path toward increased leadership responsibility and earnings potential.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage complex commercial real estate valuation assignments across multiple property types
• Develop and expand client relationships throughout the Houston market
• Grow and maintain a personal book of business while collaborating with leadership on broader market growth initiatives
• Partner with office leadership to drive strategic business development efforts and increase overall office revenue
• Mentor, coach, and help develop junior appraisal professionals
• Contribute to recruiting, team building, and creating a strong office culture
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across BBG's service lines, including valuation, assessment, and cost segregation services
• Collaborate closely with market leadership on succession planning and long-term office growth
• Serve as a visible leader within both the Houston office and the broader appraisal community

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of commercial real estate appraisal experience
• MAI designation strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing or recently achieving MAI status are highly encouraged to apply
• Proven ability to manage complex valuation assignments and client relationships
• Business development mindset with a desire to build and grow a book of business
• Leadership potential and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and a growth-oriented mentality
• Desire to play a significant role in expanding a market and building a high-performing team
• Experience working for either large national firms or successful boutique appraisal firms
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support
