Job Description - Senior Colorado Workers' Compensation Adjuster | Remote

Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to their team. This is a fully remote position responsible for handling mid to complex Colorado Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims from inception through resolution. Qualified candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of Colorado Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Handle moderate to complex Colorado Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims from inception through closure.

Manage a pending inventory of approximately 90–120 claims.

Negotiate settlements with injured workers, attorneys, and other involved parties.

Conduct thorough claim investigations, retain and coordinate appropriate experts when necessary, and develop effective claim resolution strategies.

Provide direction to defense counsel and oversee the litigation process on litigated claims.

Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings involving serious injury claims.

Requirements

5–10+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.

Strong knowledge of Colorado Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.

Experience handling litigated Workers' Compensation claims.

Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Salary & Benefits

$85,000–$110,000 annual base salary, plus a 10% target bonus.
