Senior Commercial Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Senior Commercial Analyst works directly with the Commercial Success and Commercial Teams to maximize top line revenue through management of site inventory and pricing across all segments.  In this role, you will be responsible for driving analysis, compiling reports and developing models to support business decisions across the portfolio under the guidance of the Commercial Success Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and publish daily pick-up reports for relevant stakeholders


• Build, map, and manage all rate/market/channel/room codes accurately across multiple systems, including the PMS, RMS, BI, CRS, OTA, and GDS.


• Audit all rate/market/channel/room codes monthly to ensure data cleanliness


• Publish daily/weekly/monthly reports from disparate data sources, such as STR, TravelClick, Lighthouse, RMS, PMS, Google Analytics, and others.


• Complete the commercial review deck for review by the wider team on a weekly basis


• Ensure data, rate, and inventory parity between all systems and channels on a daily basis and correct any issues.


• Load and manage all corporate consortia and negotiated rate plans in the CRS


• Update content across all distribution systems as directed


• Update settings and pricing in RMS as needed


• Implement any restrictions and inventory controls across all systems as directed


• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports


• Assist Marketing with Digital, CRM and Akia platforms


• Hotel image and content updates, Synxis, OTAs, Yext


• Update and maintain IcePortal with direction and support from Marketing


• Reconciling invoices, paid ads, budgets


• Conduct quarterly digital audit and implement changes


• Ensure all requests are delivered in a timely manner


• Complete any other tasks assigned by the Commercial Leaders as needed

Desired Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 4+ years’ experience in financial, revenue and distribution systems, hotel experience preferred.


• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, multi-unit hospitality (food & beverage or hotel) environment preferred.


• Advanced knowledge of Opera Cloud, IDeaS, SynXis, Lighthouse, Delphi are a must have. Infor HMS, StayNTouch, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager knowledge preferred, but not required.


• Superior verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


• Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills; must demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.


• Excellent self-starting initiative, and time management skills.


• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.


• Ability to audit, manage, and upkeep large data sets.


• Ability to develop custom reporting in various software.

This position has a salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
