Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join a busy, high-caliber real estate team at a 115-year-old New Jersey law firm. You'll work directly alongside practice leaders on sophisticated commercial deals for entrepreneurial NJ developers, property owners, investors, and lenders - and the partners here say the best paralegals are "just as good, if not better, than young associates."

What will you be doing?

  Ordering and reviewing title commitments and surveys, and clearing title objections

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing closing documents, managing closing checklists, and coordinating funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions

  
  


• 
  

  Handling due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active deals

  
  


• 
  

  Managing post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items

  
  


• 
  

  Interfacing directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies with minimal partner oversight

  
  

Key Requirements

• 
  

  5+ years of recent, continuous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal at a law firm (not residential-only)

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on title, survey, and closing experience — you can run a closing from start to post-closing independently

  
  


• 
  

  Stable employment history with no pattern of frequent job changes

  
  


• 
  

  Able to be in the Roseland, NJ office 5 days a week

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and polished written work product
