About the Job
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant or Principal-level Scientist or Engineer for our Marine, Coastal, Climate, and Technology business area with an emphasis in coastal resilience and ocean sciences. The candidate will lead business development efforts in coastal resilience while supporting multiple clients and projects focused on sea level rise and coastal hazard modeling, vulnerability assessments, and adaptation planning with a focus on nature-based solutions. The position will include working across practices within Integral, with other scientists and engineers with expertise in engineering, ecology, restoration, natural resource economics, toxicology, hydrogeology, and data management and visualization.
This position may offer in-office, remote, or hybrid opportunities based on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization.

As a coastal/ocean scientist or engineer, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:
Qualifications
Candidates should hold an advanced degree in oceanography, ocean or coastal engineering, or other marine science field. U.S. West Coast experience and networks are required. Professional licensure in related disciplines preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
Compensation is commensurate with experience and internal equity. An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurance, paid sick leave (10 days), paid vacation (10 or/to 20 days; determined by title at hire), paid holidays (9 days) per year, and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
