Sedaro is hiring a Contracts Manager to own the full lifecycle of commercial and U.S. Government contracts that power our growth. You will partner closely with Growth, Legal, Engineering, Finance, Security, and Program Management to negotiate, execute, and manage the agreements that enable us to deliver cutting-edge modeling and simulation software to commercial and defense customers.

As a Contracts Manager, you'll play a critical role in enabling Sedaro's growth by owning the end-to-end management of our commercial and U.S. Government contracts. You'll partner closely with Legal, Growth, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to negotiate agreements, ensure contractual compliance, mitigate risk, and continuously improve our contracting processes. As the company's primary contracts expert, you'll help build scalable systems that support our customers, our teams, and our long-term success.
Who You Are
You are an experienced contracts professional with a strong understanding of U.S. Government and commercial contracting.
You have experience managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, from negotiation and execution through administration, modifications, and closeout.
You are knowledgeable in FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting best practices, and can confidently interpret contract requirements while balancing business objectives and risk.
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple agreements and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
You communicate effectively across technical and business teams
You take ownership of your work, proactively identify risks, and recommend practical solutions that keep the business moving.
You enjoy building and improving processes, templates, and workflows that help organizations scale.

What You’ll Do
Draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial and U.S. Government agreements, including prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, software agreements, vendor contracts, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, modifications, renewals, option periods, and contract closeout.
Maintain organized contract records and monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, reporting requirements, and key deadlines.
Coordinate contract execution and maintainaccurate documentation across internal systems.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field
6+ years of progressive responsibility managing U.S. Government contracts and subcontracts
Experience leading the development, negotiations, and review of contract agreements for a software (SaaS, PaaS, etc.) business.
Strong understanding of MOSA compliance.
Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting practices
Experience negotiating and administering prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and commercial agreements
Experience supporting both pre-award and post-award contract activities
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Strong attention to detail and sound business judgment
Experience working cross-functionally with business development, legal, finance, and technical teams
Additional Desirable Experience
Experience at a venture-backed startup or high-growth technology company
Experience supporting DoW, Space Force, Air Force, NASA, NRO, or other federal customers
Familiarity with SBIR/STTR contracts, OTAs, CRADAs, or other non-traditional acquisition vehicles
Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements
NCMA certifications (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM) or equivalent professional credentials
Experience implementing or managing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal experience is a plus
