Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.\n\n## This role in summary\n\nSubject Matter Expert Machine Controls\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\n * Program Allen-Bradley PLC and develop HMI \n * Improve efficiency through programming logic and electrical improvements \n * Support maintenance department in troubleshooting critical issues\n * Monitor and respond to daily production needs and issues related to machine control systems and automated equipment.\n * Support production day to day to achieve plant metrics in safety, quality, cost, and delivery\n * Design of control cabinet wiring layout and components for industrial machinery by AutoCAD698\n * Interact with skilled personnel and others in support of the daily production demands\n * Create purchase orders for components and schedule/track/audit work. \n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\n * 2+ years of experience working directly with machine controls\n * Associate Degree in Electrical and/or Journeyman\u2019s card \n\n\n\n## Preferred skills and experiences\n\n * Experience with PLC logic, specifically using Allen-Bradley Rockwell software (e.g., Studio 5000, RSLogix).\n * Industrial Maintenance background (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)\n * Experience with metal stamping press control systems\n * Knowledge of Robotic programming (Fanuc, UR, Yaskawa)\n * Networking experience (Stratix, Cisco, Wireless Access Points, Web Server, SQL server)\n\n\n\n## Additional information\n\nWhirlpool\u2019s Ways of Working\n\n \nOur goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
