Senior Data and Reporting Analyst

EyeSouth’s affiliate network consists of over 40 practices with 300+ doctors providing medical and surgical eye care services at over 175 clinic locations and 20+ ambulatory surgery centers throughout Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, Alabama, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina. 

We’re looking for a curious, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and helping teams make smarter decisions. In this role, you’ll use your SQL and Power BI expertise to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategy and improve day-to-day operations. You’ll collaborate closely with business partners, ensuring they have the information they need to move projects forward with confidence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support business decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive thinker who can translate raw data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively across teams.

• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize business performance and trends.
• Support Strategy BI Platform administration and operational processes
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data through validation and quality checks.
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Support data governance initiatives, documentation, and process improvements.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business questions as they arise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong SQL skills with proven experience writing and optimizing queries for large and complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) for building dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Strong communication skills—you can explain data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
