We look forward to having you as part of our team in the role of Senior Data Architect, leading the modernization of legacy ETL workloads into a modern lakehouse architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct critical reverse engineering of production Alteryx workflows, SSIS packages, and SQL Server jobs.


• Validate the output of automated analysis agents against original source systems..


• Define and formalize design and governance standards, including ingestion patterns, partitioning, data typing, naming conventions, scalability strategies, and security policies in Unity Catalog.


• Review and approve design plans before authorizing automated code generation.


• Act as the highest technical authority for resolving exceptions, business ambiguities, or limitations within the multi-agent system.


• Serve as the mandatory technical approver on Pull Requests to protected branches.


• Provide technical support and leadership to a team of up to 3 engineers/developers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in data engineering and data architecture, including designing cloud data architectures.


• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Spark in production environments.


• Experience providing technical leadership to other engineers/developers.


• Ability to make design decisions and document them in an auditable manner.

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming technologies (Solace, Kafka, Lakeflow).


• DevOps experience.


• Experience with SAST controls for vulnerability management (e.g., Fluid Attack or similar).
