Senior Data Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help build reliable, scalable, and automated data solutions.

In this role, you will work with SQL, Java, automation, and CI/CD to improve data quality, streamline integrations, and reduce manual operational work.

Responsibilities

• Automate data quality and reconciliation processes.
• Develop and optimise SQL-based data processing, validation, and monitoring solutions.
• Investigate data issues and implement reliable technical fixes.
• Support Pub/Sub integrations and migration from Azure Pipelines to GitHub Actions.
• Contribute to the onboarding of new applications and data flows.
• Maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Strong SQL experience, including query optimisation, data analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Python, or .NET.
• Experience with automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data integrations, messaging platforms, and cloud solutions.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery.

Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Azure Pipelines would be a strong advantage.

Salary range - from 5000 EUR to 6500 EUR monthly before taxes.
