Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. We are hiring a Senior Director of Physician Services in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Senior-level physician services leadership role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer
• Provides leadership, direction, administration, and management for Physician Practice Management operations
• Responsible for financial and operational performance of physician practice management programs
• Supports strategic initiatives for physician integration, practice operations, acquisitions, EMR strategy, and professional development
• Supervises, leads, and develops Market Directors and Market Managers overseeing employed physician operations

COMPENSATION
• Salary range: $130,000-$170,000 annually
• Relocation assistance may be available with a two-year commitment and paid in installments

SCHEDULE
• Full-time onsite leadership position
• Must report in person to Las Cruces, New Mexico
• Travel within service area may be required

ROLE
• Lead all aspects of physician practice management operations
• Oversee financial performance, operational performance, budgets, and variance reporting
• Communicate and implement hospital and group strategic initiatives
• Support physician integration into the delivery system
• Assist with employed practice acquisitions and post-acquisition operational planning
• Serve as liaison between hospital leadership, group leadership, Physician Services, and practices
• Oversee operational start-up for new practices
• Monitor physician employment agreements and related contract provisions
• Conduct onsite practice visits with physicians and staff
• Support EMR strategy, quality improvement, productivity, and clinical outcomes
• Develop and coordinate orientation, training, and practice management development programs

• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED
• Graduation from a Health Care Management or Business Administration program REQUIRED
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing physician practices REQUIRED
• Must live in the Las Cruces, NM area or be willing to relocate within 45 days REQUIRED
• Ability to travel within the service area to outreach locations REQUIRED
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment REQUIRED
• Ability to work with minimal supervision REQUIRED
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action REQUIRED
• Master’s degree preferred
• Ability to relocate in under 30 days preferred
